Tempomandibular Joint (TMJ) Therapy
Jaw dysfunction can be a source of headaches, facial pain and widespread pain throughout the body. It's imperative to treat, not just the jaw, but the face, skull, neck and shoulders as well. When a muscle group tenses, it pulls on nearby muscles and they soon become tense and painful. Because of this, surrounding areas should be treated to receive the maxiimum benefit of your TMJ therapy.
During your TMJ therapy, we will combine Stephens' Method of Symmetry Balancing and TMJ protocol as well as Cranial Structural Integration with de-congestive techniques to help the lymphatic system in the face, neck and shoulders. By incorporating all of these modalities into your thearpy, you receive a well-rounded TMJ treatment.
